We spend half of our life studying hard- wanting to become what we are today; an independent professional. But no university prepares you for what’s ahead, we enter the corporate world with zero knowledge of how to stand out in the crowd or how to land a dream job.
The bridge between industry and academia has been out of order for a long time and we have taken it upon ourselves to mend it. A delegation from UWorx visited FAST-NUCES Chiniot Faisalabad Campus to meet with the director Dr.M.Shahzad and computer science faculty members.
Here is a brief highlight of what we offered; Offering Teacher training programs to help them better equip with latest industry framework and practices. Arranging industry compatible short courses. Arranging internships for students at UWorx group. Mentor final year projects to help adapt latest industry practices. Arrange video lectures and campus workshops by professionals from Industry. Once this ship sails smoothly, we will reach out to other universities as well.
